“ My friend and I shared some wings and a kimchi bacon fried rice. Wings are on the pricier side for Korean fried chicken but very good--crunchy on the outside but the meat was still tender and moist. The kimchi bacon fried rice was good, but nothing spectacular. This much food (plus the banchan) was enough for the both of us! The space isn't very large. Definitely better for parties of 2-4. Right on Jackson Ave, so there is only metered parking. ”
“ Really well breaded, double fried Korean Fried Chicken, definitely a fan and would go back again ”
“ Great service and excellent food. Got take out and the chicken was still crispy when I got home!!! Flavors were spot on!! Will definitely being ordering from them again ”
“ Walked in on a Friday night and there was no wait. My boyfriend and I shared the Jr bucket (6 pc wings and 6 pc drums) and went with half garlic and half spicy garlic, as well as the beef LA galbi platter (comes with banchan and rice). The wings were the best. The banchan was also amazing! 4.5 stars. ”
“ I've eaten here many times and ordered delivery many times, but finally got around to writing a review. The showstopper here are the garlic wings (not spicy). It's crispy and coated nicely with the garlic sauce every time! I wasn't a huge fan of the spicy version, I felt it was burning my mouth than adding actual flavor to it, which made it un-enjoyable for me. I got the kimchi bacon fried rice, and as you can tell from the color it is packed with kimchi/gojujang (not spicy though, but will definitely stain)! It fixed my craving for kimchi fried rice, but nothing spectacular. I also frequently order delivery for tofu stew from here when I'm lazy to go out, and compared to other tofu stews within my area (queens/brooklyn), it's the best one. It could have more depth, but good enough to satisfy my cravings. I've also tried the bibimbap and spicy squid, it was standard and didn't leave a lasting impression. I do think the wings are pricier than what I would expect for its location, but I really enjoy it so I will continue ordering from here. TLDR is that the garlic wings are delicious and if you wanted a second dish that's not wings, it's most likely going to be pretty good, but not amazing, mostly a supporting character :) ”
“ Good Korean food but really expensive! Two entrees and a beer ran us $70. We liked the bibimbap! The blue crab tofu soup was delicious as well, but it was too small a crab for us to get any meat out of so I would recommend getting a different tofu soup. If you dine in, they give you complimentary banchan but they're not as good about refilling it as some other korean spots. I'm glad I came here but it's definitely a splurge. ”
“ Local food, no frills, but all the good yum! I don't live in LIC but I'm glad my friends took me here! Highly recommend this spot to anyone local to the area, a yummy casual Korean spot~ ”
“ I always get the chicken here when we order lunch from work. This time I came on a Sunday with my family. It was empty, we were seated promptly. We had to use bathroom, it's so small but smelled amazing. The hostess/waitress was playing k pop music and my 11 year old was in heaven. Her favorite music. I ordered the chicken poppers with the sweets thai chili sauce it's so good. Also an order of fries, they would've tasted better if they had salt. My husband had the ribs platter. My daughter had the spicy chicken platter which she loved. She wasn't a fan of the kimchi it was too spicy for her. My husband enjoyed his. Our food was served by another waitress and she gave us a water jug and continued to replenish it. Thank god because of all the spicy food. Other all great experiences. We will come again ”
“ I came here after claiming my free bubble tea from one of Yelp's events since I was in the area. I visited the LIC Lunar New Year events website and saw that this spot had a sampler special. I took a chance on it. After disputing with staff and management that the deal on the website ends at the end of the month, they had adjusted their online menus to provide the sampler option to order. I did get the sampler without having to spend extra. Portions were generous and fresh. I ate half and took the other half home for the family. The ambiance was designed for locals living in the area, not so much for outsiders like me. I saw that Kuku has other locations, so I may check those out. ”
